guys want to get into Eazzy’s Pants

Since the release of her hot single, ‘Bo Wonsem Ma Me’ in 2009, the vivacious and foxy rapper/singer Eazzy has become one of the firm favourite of Ghanaian youths.  When she followed up with the huge party banger, ‘Wengeze’, it became clear that Eazzy had arrived on the Ghanaian music scene with a new brand of provocative and alluring Pop music. Her third single, ‘Get Into My Pants’ is already making waves, and judging by the response she had when she performed the song at her album launch over the weekend, it appears she has another hit single on the cards. Eazzy launched her debut album, ‘Twinkle’ at the Silver Star Towers on Saturday, August 28, and it was interesting to observe that most of her fans were young guys. While it is easy to appreciate that she would be admired by the boys for her sex appeal it was incredible seeing the boys sing/rap along. When Eazzy asked them to clap they did; when she asked them to bend down low, they did; and when she asked them to get into her pants, they clearly wished they could.
Eazzy was supported by her label-mates from Lynx Entertainment, including Richie, Asem and OJ Blaq. There was also a performance by guest artistes, VIP and appearances by the likes of Tinny, Kweku-T, D-Black and other

Sex scares young actresses

Sex is gradually becoming the bane of Ghana’s growing movie industry as it has become an impediment between young professional actresses and their career.

According to sources in the movie industry, sex has become one of major problems affecting the smooth progress of the industry as every year, more and more young actresses have to go through the sex ordeal before they can get a role to play.

Those actresses who wouldn’t engage in such an act have to abandon their acting dreams for different careers, hence the domination of the industry by a few faces.

Some movie producers and directors, our sources disclosed, “have been exporting their bedroom amorous tricks with their wives onto the movie field by demanding sex from these potential young actresses before giving them roles to play.”

“They always tell the girls that big stars in various movie industries around the world also had sex with their bosses before they were able to climb to where they are now.”

The worst of it all is that, after having sex with some of the girls, the producers and directors at times renege on their promises, giving several excuses for their inability to fulfill those promises.

While professionally trained actresses are often thrown out because they would not give in to the demands of their ‘bosses’, their colleagues who have not had any form of professional training are quick to surrender because they want to be seen on TV at all cost.

When contacted, Mr. Nii Odoi Mensah, President of the Ghana Actors’ Guild, confirmed the story. He said the issue had come to the Guild’s notice but it was difficult to track down the perpetrators especially as the ladies involved would not like to come out publicly to talk about it.

“In every organization, we have such few bad nuts who would engage in all kinds of activities. It is not nice and I must emphasize that, those involved should stop.

A young, beautiful girl once complained to me that a producer wanted to have her in bed before he gives her a role to play but she refused and that was the end for her.”

Mr. Odoi Mensah continued that the problem was one of the contributory factors to the dominance of many school dropouts in the movie industry. “If you look at our industry now, it is full of many school dropouts because of these anomalies.

When you look at Nigeria’s industry, it is full of professionals and university graduates,” he said.

He therefore called on producers and directors to help bring sanity into the industry, stressing that it is not right to have sex with a lady before giving her a role in a movie, or make young actresses and actors pay for audition and location fees

STC officials to face criminal charges...

Criminal charges are to be preferred against officials of Intercity STC (ISTC) Coaches Limited, the country's premier transport company, whose actions resulted in ISTC incurring huge financial losses.

The report of a committee exposed financial malfeasance at ISTC, resulting in the company incurring millions of Ghana cedis in losses.

"Findings in the report that border on criminality will be forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for the necessary action," the Minister of Transport, Mr Mike Allen Harnmah, told the Daily Graphic in Accra following the report that exposed the 'rot' at the company.

He said the government had contracted the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to develop a revival plan to revamp the operations of ISTC in an effort to lift the comp-any out of its present predicament:

The plan, he added, was expected to be presented to the ministry by August 17, 2010, although the management and board of ISTC w.ere also working together to develop a comprehensive and a strategic business plan.

Giving highlights of what the plan was to capture, the .minister said it would involve ideas that would seek to inject fresh capital to revamp the operations of the company and introduce cost-cutting measures to streamline activities at ISTC.

Mr Hammah, who described the company's financial standing as "precarious", said it made gross profit but recorded negative net profit due to what he described as "high operating cost", underscoring the need for cost-cutting mechanisms to enhance efficiency.

He expressed the belief that the company would enjoy a Unique and competitive advantage in the transport industry in the country, given its preference by majority of the travelling public across the country.

He expressed concern over the sudden loss of confidence in the company by sections of the public following the poor nature of its operations, coupled with poor customer service, among other operational difficulties.

The minister was of the view that injecting fresh capital into the company was subject to approval by the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) which had an 80 per cent stake in ISTC, since it was a stakeholder.

"The government's interest now is to bolster the company to make it more efficient for the travelling public," he said.

To that end, Mr Hammah stated that the ministry was exploring the possibility of seeking private sector participation in the company, in view of some 200 buses that were expected to be imported into the country as a first tranche for distribution to the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) and the Metro Mass Transit (MMT) Limited.

He added that procuring additional buses for ISTC would be subject to how the company performed after the plan had been implemented.

"ISTC has a lot of landed property and all that is needed is for a blueprint to turn the affairs of the Company around," Mr Hammah added.

The August 12, 2010 edition of the Daily Graphic published the findings of a committee of enquiry that exposed financial malfeasance at ISTC, in which an estimated GH¢81 million collected from passengers as clearance fees from 2000 to 2009 could not be accounted for.

The clearance fees were paid by passengers to and from Abidjan, Cotonou and Ouagadougou, in addition to the normal fares charged by ISTC, to facilitate their smooth and quick movement through the many borders and barriers on the company's international routes.

Though the fees had been collected in the name of the company, there was no record of receipts, nor could the money be accounted for by the management

REDESIGNING YOUR HOME

The first thing touched when visiting a home is the front door
knob. Make sure that it is of good quality, appropriate for the style
of the house and provides excellent security. Once you’ve met those
basic demands make sure the knob is clean and the finish is in good
condition. Many come with lifetime warranties on the finish, so
having a beaten-down knob is inexcusable!
Your porch light and mailbox can be simple yet high-impact
upgrades. You can replace these for an instant lift to the front of
the house. If your entryway is donned with poor lighting, your
family and guests will thank you for ‘brightening’ the way! This is
a change that is readily noticeable due to proximity to the front door.
Choose outdoor fixtures that complement your home’s style and go
with energy-efficient bulbs to save your wallet from rising energy
costs. A weathered mailbox on a farmhouse may be quaint, but on
a newer or remodeled older home, that usually is not the case! With
so many different styles to choose from, make sure your front door
remains the focal point and the mailbox serves as an accessory to the
home.
Windows are like eyes to the soul of your home. If you can see
right into your house, what’s on the inside is extremely important
to overall curb appeal. You have cleaned and decluttered the rest
of what you see from the curb, so do the same for the inside. If you
can’t clean it, screen it! The same treatment on all the windows seen
from the curb will unify and soften the appearance of the house. If
you have existing drapes, they may look good from the inside but
check the lining that is exposed to the sun and see how it’s holding
up.
Another way to address windows is with tinting. Available in
clear through dark tints, tinting can diminish the world’s view of
your home’s interior. Highly reflective finishes are rather flashy and
thus, a design no-no! Regardless, most brands of tinting will not
only cut the heat, they bock UV light to protect your colors and
make furniture last longer.
With the yard, house and interior addressed you instantly
maximize the overall appeal of your home!
